Gilles Bertrand works for Orange Labs as IPTV/WebTV Network Architect since 2009. His research interests include, but are not limited to, content delivery networks, end-to-end QoS, traffic engineering, and network optimization. He received the PhD degree in computer science from Telecom Bretagne (France) in 2009. Previously, he received the MSc. degree in computer sciences and telecommunications from Telecom SudParis (France) as well as the Dipl-Ing. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Stuttgart (Germany), both in 2006. Gilles Bertrand has been involved in several research projects and networks of excellence at French and European level and has published several book chapters and articles in peer-reviewed conferences. His prior experiences include research work both for industry leaders and SMEs.
